Pack List
Packing list for 2 guys (This is what we brought)

Tent:
1 Eureka Assault two man 4 season tent – JR, couldn’t have been better

Food:
1 ½ boxes oatmeal - Just right (JR)
8 things of Ramen Noodles – JR, ate them all
9 Mt. House (Newer) – JR, ate them all
14 Mt. House (Older) – More than needed (MTN), ate about 4
10 Mt. House Sides (Older) – MTN, didn’t eat any
6 Mt. House Eggs (Older) – MTN, didn’t eat any
4 Instant mashed potatoes – MTN, we ate 2
16 Power bars – JR, we ate them all
12 Recees Cups – JR, we ate them all
2 Bags of trail mix (Large) – MTN, we ate one bag

Pot sets:
1 Army set (deep pot with lid that turns into frying pan) – JR, used ever day
1 Small pan set – MTN, but we did use the spatula a lot but rest not needed
1 foldable set – MTN, Dan used one frying pan for a plate

Plate set:
1 Bag of kitchen wear (plate, bowl, silverware, cup-also measuring) JR

Water bottles:
3 collapsible (1 camp water, one purified drinking) MTN, only used 2

Camp Stove
1 Coleman white gas stove – JR, used every day 3 times a day

Water Purifier/Filter
1 MSR filter which did most of the big water – JR, did a lot of water at one time
1 Filter – Didn’t use as we just boiled water from fast clear river water.

Coffee Pot
1 9 cup coffee pot – JR, was great for Mt. House and coffee



Tarps
3 Heavy duty 8x10 tarps (1 crapper, 1 meat, 1 lean-to) - JR
1 Plastic drop cloth used to go under tent – JR

Toilet
1 portable crapper seat with folding legs and disposable bags
Bags (Travel)
3 Military “A” bags, used one to hang food in tree but good for packing 50lbs



Hip Waders
Each person had set – JR, used every day and a must for this trip

Rope
400 yrd of regular rope, Needed More (NM) if we got more animals to hang meat
100 yards of 550 cord – JR, used it all








Cold Medicine
1 Box of Alka Seltzer – JR, it helped clear Dan up pretty good

Flaggers Tape
1 roll – MTN, we only used 10 yards to put out to display wind direction

Binos
Each had a pair – JR, make sure they are good to see long distances

Ammo (Heavy)
40 rounds for Wink – MTN, I used 2
50 rounds for Dan – MTN, Dan used 5
20 rounds for Pistol – MTN, never used until last day but got to have some

Game Bags
6 sets of 4 Alaska Game Bags – JR, used them all
3 large moose quarter bags – MTN, but you never know
5 Elk quarter mesh bags - MTN, but you never know
8 Hand made moose quarter bags - MTN, but you never know

Rain Gear
1 Set, pants and jacket of Helly Hanson – JR, didn’t use pants as I had waders
Dan also had Gortex rain suede that soaked through so he switched to PVC type

Camp Chairs (Light weight)
2 aluminum folder out chairs – JR, until Dan broke

Fishing Poles
2 light weight rods with reels – MTN, probably could have come with one

Gloves & Hat
1 each skull cap – JR, needed a couple mornings
1 each brimmed hat – JR, had on when didn’t have skull cap
1 pair Gore-Tex thinsulate gloves – JR, handy when it was chilly and rainy

Hiking Boots
1 Gore-Tex boots, Cabelas (Wink) – JR, perfect but a little heavy
1 Danner boots (Dan) – JR, thought they might be wet but might have been sweat

Under Armour
1 set per person – JR, man that stuff is great and quick drying if sweaty
