Here is where you will find out what is going on with me and the people around me.

Come back often and see what is new

16 January 2004

Wow is there a lot that goes on in a month that I need to write down.  Lets start off with the big one.  I ROLED OVER TODAY!!!  Yup, mommy put me on my belly and I wanted to be on my back.  I only go left right now but I am sure on my way to mobilization.
Lets see the big event that I haven’t wrote about is Christmas.  Mommy, Daddy, Jaeger and me all went to se Grandma and Pop.  It took us a long time to get there but it was sure worth the drive.  I had to be in my seat about 18 hours but I slept most of the way.  When we got there I got so much love and everyone had smiles for me.  We only stayed for a week but during that week I got lots of kisses and lots of smiles, all the things that make me happy.  One thing that was really special to me was the fact that I got to see my 103-year-old Great Great Grandmother, Nana.  It was fun going to see her as she held me and we got to take pictures together, I will always remember that day.
Not much has happened else except that daddy is not home a lot.  Mommy says that he went to a different state to learn some new stuff so he can take the job in Alaska, I sure do miss him but he has been coming home on the weekends, I just hope it ends soon.
I am getting big!  We are still taking pictures every month at Sears.  I am growing out of all my cool outfits.  I am now wearing 3-6 months stuff and I am no longer sleeping in my bassinet, daddy put the crib that he paid so much money for next to his bed.
Live is good right now, and mommy and daddy keep saying that I am a very good baby.  I like it when they tell me that and give me kisses.  Till next time.

15 December 2003

This past month there has been a lot that has gone on, so much that I should have split my entry and done two of the.  Well, first thing is first, we will start with the biggest and that is that I can now hold my head up.  When daddy holds me to my chest I can support my head pretty good and lift it up when I am laying on my tummy.  I like to look around as both mommy and daddy carry me around the house, it is so much fun to look at all the stuff, I even get to look down at Jaeger now.  Another big thing that has happened in the past month is that I have found my hands.  First I found them in my mouth as they had a different taste to them but in the past week I have been putting them up in the air and staring at them all the time.  I first found my right and then it was my left and yes they both have 5 fingers on them, mommy says they are Thumper, Pointer, Tall man, Ring man and Pinky.  Daddy has tried to get me to hold onto my toes but I just can’t get a good grasp on them yet.  I am still full of smiles and love when people smile at me.  I do smile quite a bit but that is because I am a very happy baby.  What else is new, well I am now moving into my 3-6 month cloths, right on schedule, that other stuff was getting a little too tight, I think I am close to 12 pounds right now and mommy and daddy talked about moving my diaper up a size.  This past month I got my first cold and I got my first fever, that is what really stunk.  Lets see, I stayed my first evening with a baby sitter, Ellen, as mommy and daddy went to a Christmas party.  I am eating 4oz of formula right now and about every 2 hours and I can tell that I am growing.  Oh, one more thing I can grab stuff now from my play gym, I get a little mad when it won’t come to my mouth but I have to get a little bigger muscles for that.  Oh, well I hope you have a good Christmas and see you next time.

11 November 2003,

Life has been good in the first month.  I got my pictures taken in a studio which wasn’t that easy.  I was crying so much because I didn’t think that I looked good enough and I daddy couldn’t fix my hair correctly.  I finally gave up, gave a little smile and the shot was taken.  Mommy says that I will get my picture taken like this every month..

Living in the trailer is good, brother Jaeger takes up a lot of space but I get to tower over him as mommy and daddy carry me around.  I spend a lot of time in my boopy and in my swing.  I really don’t like to be held to much, they can never get me in a real comfortable position, except when I have a bottle in my mouth.

Sundays are probably my busiest day, it is up in the morning and off to Church and then back home for a nap, then it is off for a night of bowling.  I don’t do any bowling but sure do get passed around like a bowling ball.  It is fun and I get to see a lot of faces and many people talk to me.

I am getting big, daddy says that my cloths are getting a little small and I have seen him throw some of them off to the side saying that I didn’t fit into them anymore.  I don’t know how much I weigh now but last time I was weighed it was 9lbs and 4 ozs.

That is all I can think of right now so I will sign off for today and come back next month.  I know it only looks like I am throwing my arm around but I really am trying to wave goodbye.

9 Oct 2003,

Well this is my first input and I have so much to tell.  You have to forgive me though, all this is so new to me, I just hope you understand.  I met my mommy and daddy on Sept 24 bright and early in the morning.  They were not the first people that I saw though, there was some lady pulling on me and holding me up in the coldest air that I have ever felt.  I knew something was getting ready to happen because for the past 24 hours the walls around me were closing in on me and I started to get the biggest headache.   I came into this bright, bright light and cold, cold air and I could hear voices a lot clearer then I did before.  No more pressure now, I was just cold.  Some ladies wrapped me up and put a hat on me and did a bunch of stuff before I got to meet mommy and daddy.  I spent the next couple of days off and on with mommy and daddy and the nice ladies in the hospital.  Daddy did most of my feedings as my mommy was in bed and couldn’t move that well, he also did all of my poopy changes but I will get mommy later.  We left the hospital after seeing a whole bunch of people.  As we left, daddy told me that I was getting strapped in to my first go cart, he was so funny.

Grandma and Pop Hinkley came down from New York to help out mommy and daddy and that was a lot of fun.  Grandma took a lot of pictures, and when I say a lot, I mean a lot, I thought I was a model.  It was fun and they could only stay a week but daddy says that we will see them at Christmas time.
